Football has been around for centuries, it dates back to prehistoric times. Before the 19th century, balls were no longer as animal bladders, usually pigs'. Although they were covered with leather, so they last longer, they were, most of the time, irregular. In 1836, however, Charles Goodyear patented vulcanized rubber. This was the first step in modern football.

In the year 1855, for the first time, Goodyear's vulcanized rubber was on the football. In 1862, one of the first inflatable rubber bladders for balls by HJ Lindon. In 1872, the football was in the current rule book for the first time ever. Even in these rules, however, some differences were acceptable. For example, ""... the ball must be spherical with a coat made of leather or other approved materials. The amount may not exceed 28 inches and not less than 27, while the weight at the beginning of the game may not exceed 16 oz. And no less than 14 ounces "" (The Encyclopedia of Football Association, First published in England in the 1956th)

In the 1900s, more balls were rubber bladders, which are opposed to a lot of pressure. This made it easy to join and easy to hop. However, as the leather absorbs water, it was very difficult, they are at the forefront, especially when it rained. Also because of the way the seam, and because of the undependability of the bubbles, the balls had to be re-inflated a lot, even during the games.

It took a while, but in 1960, the first fully synthetic football produced. Nevertheless, it was not until 1980 that the synthetic ball completely replaced the leather. Today, a leather is very rare and very unusual, and we are more than satisfied with our synthetic footballs.
