patent search net

non-patent literature search is of great importance in the IP domain. Patentability search of a new invention is very important and can be achieved by both s patent and non-patent literature search. What, to my knowledge, the patent database is only determined that the domain is very organized and easy to reach, either through free databases or commercial databases. But the non-patent information, such as journals, research and publication information, thesis, etc. are all over the net. There are few databases and vendors, including a good collection of this information and tried to organize them in an easily accessible. But there is still great whit room for further improvements.

Thus a patent for professional, non-patent literature search for information, is not an easy task. You need different data sources such as PubMed, Science Direct, Scirus, etc. Most of the well-organized sources to be paid, thus not accessible for smaller companies.

As someone said, that "need is the origin of innovation," the people have several small tools to make it to the document in question is dispersed and vast information on the web.

Some of the tools that I have are:
# GoldMed
# TexMed
# HubMed

I have HubMed, a crucial tool to target relevant information. The various functions such as clustering, similar words, export, etc. are very helpful and could be at least a portion of valuable time. There are many other similar instruments and software that is freely available, along with some paid for the can be very useful for a patent professional in a position document and save your valuable time.
