I was in the service of the Roman Catholic Church, notably St. Augustine Parish, Diocese of Surigao del Sur (Philippines) as the Sacristan 1985 to 1991, and as a Sacristan Mayor from 1991 to 1993. And during this time, compliance the All Souls' Day is one of the busiest days for me. I was really sorry for my self for wasting my strength, my time and my life do things that are vain before God.To let you know, never in the Bible, that all souls days and was mentioned by the first Christian century. Christ never learned festival.The behind this observance of All Souls' Day is based on the invented doctrine of the Roman Catholic Church on purgatory.

"" All Souls' Day, in the Roman Catholic Church, one day for the commemoration of all faithful departed, the Christians who are baptized to be in purgatory because they have died with the guilt less sins on their souls, celebrated on Novermber 2 or 3 November, when the 2nd November is Sunday ..."" (The New Encyclopeadia Britannica, Micropeadia, 15th Ed., Sv "All Souls' Day")

And the souls in purgatory, said have nothing to do for themselves to shorten their suffering:

"" The poor souls in Purgatory can not do anything for themselves to shorten their suffering. But Christ, their Savior, is always in conversation with the father for her, and Mary and other saints pray through Christ and with Christ. " (A Catholic Catechism, p. 337)

So Christ, Mary and other Catholic saints, according to the Catholic catechism, pray for the souls in purgatory. And not only that, the food assistance for the souls in purgatory to:

"" We should be generous in helping the poor souls in purgatory, long for God. The best thing we can do for them is that masses be offered. The church is no limit to the time when we pray or fairs provide for the suffering souls in purgatory. If we do not have a mass said we should at least hear our masses for the dead continues. If God so wiulled, a single mass may all the souls in purgatory. We should especially at fairs All Souls' Day and the anniversary of the death of our relatives and friends. "(My Catholic Faith by Louis LaRavoire Morrow, DD, p. 258)

Catholic Education authorities have this doctrine of the Catholic Church even though they know that Purgatory is not in the Bible.

"" Scripture and the Christian tradition no doubt confirm that heaven and hell exist, but what is that mysterious "third state" that Catholics and some other Christias as "purgatory." The term itself is not in the Bible ..."" (Catholic and Christian, by Allan Sckreck, p. 195)

The doctrine of purgatory only to men Tradition:

"The idea of Purgatory finds its roots in Buddhism and other ancient religious system, long before the existence of the Roman Catholic Church. Evidence of his introduction to the Christian idea in some of the writings of the early church fathers, as far back as the third and fourth century of the Christian era, but it was not officially recognized until the time of Gregory I. ' "(novel Catholism in the light of Scripture, p. 107)

Since this doctrine is not of Christ nor the apostles, but from the tradition of men, we should condemn them because the Bible says so:

7 And in vain they worship me,
Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men. "[A]
8 For the lifting of the commandment of God, you hold the tradition of men [b] cleaning the cans and cups, and many other things you do. "
9 He said to them, "only too well you reject the commandment of God, that you keep your tradition. (Mark 7:7-9, NKJV)

The Roman Catholic Church could not condemn the doctrine of purgatory, which they invented, because they will earn a lot. The Bible, of course, about this "merchandise of the souls" of the Roman Catholic Church:

11 "And the merchants of the earth will weep and mourn over her because no one buys their goods more: 12 articles of gold and silver, precious stones and pearls, fine linen and purple, silk and scarlet, every kind of wood, lemon, any kind of object of ivory, every kind of object of most precious wood, bronze, iron, marble, 13 and cinnamon and incense, fragrant oil and frankincense, wine and oil, fine flour and wheat, cattle and sheep, horses and carts and bodies and souls of the people. (Revelation 18:11-13, ibid)

These "Merchandising of Souls" by the marriage of purgatory and the mass teachings:

"" Purgatory was invented by Rome in 593, but it remained a very unpopular doctrine for many centuries. The fair was launched, however, these two innovations in the Church of Rome has been inextricably linked. The question came in Roman circles: "Can an alleged mass infinite spiritual value the souls in Purgatory?" The pope quickly accepted this new idea, and the mass associated with dizziness in purgatory was born. Today our readers know what a financial success that the marriage of mass and purgatory was. There is not a single product in the world today who have been more financially successful than those two religious doctrines, mass and purgatory. "" (I was a priest, Lucien Vinet, p. 43-44)

This money and doctrines was successful because all Catholics are told to the poor souls in purgatory by masses for them, especially at All Souls' Day:

So, on 2 November and 3 November, the Roman Catholic Church will again win a lot of money as a trader of souls, merchandising the lost souls.
