California Definition:
Paralegal is a person, either with or by a lawyer, law firm, corporation, authority or other entity, and the essential legal work under the direction and supervision of active members of the State Bar of California, as defined in § 6060 or an attorney to practice law in the Federal Republic of courts of the country was especially assisted by a lawyer for him or her.
