yale law degrees

yale law degrees
One of the puzzling things in the United States education system is the reason why most universities do not offer a bachelor's degree in law. In most universities, if you become a lawyer someday, you have to major in something else and then on your law degree from an accredited law school. So what's up with that?

A large part of the answer to this question is mainly speculation, as this "limitation" is not clearly spelled out, especially when it is not standardized across the nation. So, what you read is only a few educated guesses on a few facts .

In the United States, to a lawyer, you have only one thing. Your bar exam. A person can actually do so without formal education or training whatsoever. That is correct. A person can walk in the street on which placed a bar exam and, if they happen, they are legally allowed to practice law in whatever state they are in. So the bar if you are a self-educated person and think you draw from this, there is nothing legally preventing you.

Due to this fact and also simpler, because there are really so much in the preparation of legal practice, most universities are likely to feel that they are ill equipped to make a person to do this and still that person, all electives and other requirements that are needed to actually a degree from this institution. Therefore, a bachelor's degree in law is not offered.

Another reason may very well have to do with economics and politics. As the preparation for a career in law is so strong, special schools were set up specifically for this purpose. She urged law schools. These schools, a lot of money to get in. If the regular universities to offer law degrees, and indeed anyone ready for a career in law, there would be no need for public schools. Of course, that would be a nightmare for the university law schools themselves. If the policy into the mix, that is, if it is very unlikely that a regular four-year college is to create a comprehensive program of law and a bachelor's degree to go with her.

So what is a person if they are in great want to go to a lawyer at some point? Well, most students major in political science. This is not the requirement that they do so, it is likely that the degree is the best preparation for a career in law because the material covered. However, there are students who major in psychology and other disciplines is that it's not really, because they have to go to a law school in order to prepare for the bar exam, that's what it all boils down to.

And it's funny, with all the requirements we have become the first certified to practice law in this country, you'd think we have better lawyers than we do.
